It's a fascinating place with amazing people working there. Immediately we felt like we were in the house of a very good friend. They treated us perfectly. The room was huge, gorgeous, comfortable and simply amazing. The place is perfectly decorated. It's a old house in the medina and every room gets a name of an important woman in Morocco history. The views from the balcony in the road were amazing, and the location was great.

We loved this riad! It is located in the middle of the medina close to restaurants and markeds, but still it is quiet. The interior is so beautiful and the staff very helpful. They even offered free shuttle to the airport. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable with a great location, breakfast, and city views. We had a great stay. Excellent location near the blue gate of the medina. The inner courtyard of the riad is beautiful. Our room was big, comfortable, clean, with great amentities and nice antiques. Breakfast was delicious and we loved taking it on the roof every morning overlooking the medina. Tahar, the manager was very helpful and speaks excellent english. Highly recommend staying here.

We arrived very early in the morning as it was not the check-in time, and despite that, Ghita welcome us and gave us a room to rest for a while until the check-in time, and the nice thing is that they provided us with a wonderful breakfast although it was not included that day it was really something good on their part. Regarding the tour inside the old city she gave us a detailed explanation of everything and gave us a map. She also called the tourism office and booked us a guide in the English language. He was really good at dealing and good at his profession as he reduced the prices in some of our purchases and we asked him to visit some areas and He did not hesitate to help us despite the expiration of the time for which we booked. Regarding the internet service, it was fast and good There was no difficulty in that. It was available in the rooms and also at the top of the roof. A wonderful welcome from Ghita and the manager Tahar. They did not make us feel that we were customers but were like family. I highly recommend this riad you will not find a good place like it and also because it is close to the entrance to the city everything was wonderful.

This beautiful Riad was quite the find! It has amazing possession and is located by the road for easy pick up and drop off. Siham, the manager, treated us like family and was very helpful with everything we needed. The Riad has 6 rooms designed in the traditional mosaic tiles and by the end of 2024, it would already have a swimming pool. We couldn't stop taking pictures of the courtyard with fountains, the inner dining room, the facade of windows, etc. We pre-booked a dinner for our arrival date and wow, it was plentiful and yummy! Tip: Riads and restaurants do not sell alcohol, but you're welcome to bring wine without corkage fee

The staff treated us like family! Ghita, khlafa & Tahar went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Ghita would check in everyday to ask what we wanted to do that day, make suggestions, and book tour guides for us. She even arranged for a picnic lunch for the day we drove up into the mountains. There was literally nothing that Tahar would not do for us, including personally walking us over to the market one day and sitting with us at the end of the each day on the roof top patio to share his knowledge and passion for Morocco. Ghita was always there with a smile as he poured our coffee and greeted us warmly when we returned each night. These individuals made our visit very special. The riad itself was so far beyond our expectations. When we first arrived, khalid came outside to help us deal with our taxi driver (he must have seen us on the security cameras) he smoothed things over and showed us the way to the Riad.We were served mint tea while ghita shared the history of the Riad and then shocked us by showing us to the Royal Suite. We couldn't have it for all three nights but she said that it was available for the one night and she thought we would enjoy it!! The room we moved to the next day was equally breathtaking. Why would you stay in a hotel when you can stay in a riad ?! Definitely the most unique place that we have ever had the privilege to stay at! The roof top patio was amazing. I can't describe the beauty and awe of hearing the call to pray as the sun is going down over the historic city of Fez. I should also mention that the food is made by the owner's MOM!! Definitely try some of Mama Fatima's Moroccan dishes; the food was beyond excellent! I would like to thank ghita , Tahar& khalid for your exceptional service but most importantly for your genuine friendship. We feel deeply grateful to have met you and to have stayed in such an amazing place!

The room was beautiful, really clean, comfortable, huge. It was such a pleasure to stay in a place like this. It has a terrace were you can grab a drink or eat. Amenities and bank atm are walking distance. The owner is great, he helps you in anything you need, he is sweet, approachable, helpful and easy going. Highly recommended

Riad 53 was the perfect finish of our 11-day trip around Morocco. Everything was just perfect!

Our suite deluxe was exceptional, comfy, well firnished, big and really comfy. The location is excellent, host and all the staff is very kind and helpful. Really authentic Riad.

this was a super value and the staff was very sweet.

Conveniently located to lots of restaurants, the Medina and the old walls around the city. We walked everywhere (even the Mall that had a Burger King and a Carrefour). The Riad was quiet at night, which surprised me somewhat as we had a room off Reception area. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate our special requests, coffee brought our room at 8am and glasses with ice at 8pm.

The pillows were not soft at all and I would also ask for hangers for the armoire.

The Riad is very nice and our room was beautiful and spacious. It is very well located to walk around the Medina and the terrace is super nice.

Complimentary tea is offered the first day, which is nice, but when I ordered tea another day, they charge almost 4EUR, 4 times what you will be charged anywhere else. Was never sure if this was the menu price indeed or if the guy serving on the terrace just randomly decided to charge me that. It is anyway not much but the gesture is what counts.

Very fancy Riad for a decent price!

It's a very nice-looking riad. We didn't expect it to be that fancy and spacious, to be honest. Originally we booked two rooms for 4 people, but one of the rooms needed maintenance work so we ended up in one room. It was very spacious and more than enough room for all of us to be honest. The welcome drink on the terrace was nice as well.
